2025 Game Reviews - 83-62

This page contains the reviews for numbers 83-62 of my 2025 game reviews.  These games were generally, for myself, at least worth the time I spent playing them but were not particularly fun. There are some interesting ideas in some titles in this group but they might not have been fully realized. There are games in this group I would actually suggest to some people, if I really knew a lot about their likes and dislikes and was positive a game fit a specific niche they enjoyed. I picked it up about a year ago when I was really fascinated by the implementation of dice rolls in various types of games. I found the first game's story to be incredibly gripping and was looking forward to the sequel.     The storytelling took a large step back with Citizen Sleeper 2. There's still plenty of text here but I didn't feel lik...

I Played Over 100 New Games In 2025 - Let's Review Them All

I started 2025 by making the decision to play more kinds of games than I normally do. At the ripe, old age of 33 I had found myself set in my ways. I play competitive shooters, I play the shit out of mascot platformers, and I play card games... but I also used to play and love so much more. I have fond childhood memories of games like Legend of Dragoon, Need for Speed, Madden, Mary-Kate & Ashley's Magical Mystery Mall (really, I promise it was rad) but adult Noah would just brush off so many games as "That's not for me bro."            In an effort to expand my horizons for game genres I'd consider "my kind of game", I played over a hundred new releases this year. I came to learn many things about myself as a player and my preferences. Rather than do the SEO-optimal thing where I review them one by one and jam their name in the title, I'm going to use this page as a reference point to link out to reviews in groups.    ...

This page contains the reviews for numbers 105-84 of my 2025 game reviews.  Most of this group are games I considered to have flaws so detrimental that they turned me off before I could find a redeeming quality or so technically flawed that I threw them at the bottom and didn't bother revisiting them. To see the rest, visit this page. 105. The Bazaar     Designed primarily by YouTube creator Reynad, The Bazaar is an asynchronous PvP autobattler game that looks to do away with the visual framing of the fantasy unit combat found in the likes of Teamfight Tactics or Hearthstone Battlegrounds in favor of trinkets and objects casting spells on timers. I actually found the gameplay for The Bazaar to be incredibly fun, but this game has ended up on the bottom of my list because of mismanagement and player hostility by the development team Reynad has surrounded himself with and largely been the driving force behind.     Throughout the course of thre...
